Update on Manila Zoo

I posted yesterday how Karen Ang describes the recent condition of Manila Zoo. Apparently, there ARE efforts from both the government and some volunteers to help restore the zoo. It will take some time (and lots of money) to fully fix Manila Zoo, but at the very least, people are doing something about it.

An article by Karen Ang shows how decrepit Manila Zoo is these days. It's kinda sad since I've had nice memories of it from way back, but I haven't been there for the longest time. I feel sad about the animals who waste away in a pitiful state, knowing that they could have been treated better.
